DROWNED MADONNA changes its clothes and get a brand new look, launching a main English section.

 

This is to welcome all our English-speaking visitors that have been increasing day by day.

The artwork of these pink pages represents the concept of Madonna’s recent message, which was started with her song “Drowned World/Substitute for Love” and recently developed with the tracks “American Life” and “Hollywood”, off her new album.

 

Unwrap the Madonna-doll you see on the first page, for it’s not the real thing:

 

Madonna is not just a bunch of pop songs, she’s not just a “gazillionaire”, she’s not just a one-thousand different looks.

Unwrap that box and discover that, just like the American dream, nothing is what it seems. Madonna is a product we can all easily buy right like a Barbie, Madonna is a mass-phenomenon that the media can control like a puppet. If we don’t start using our mind and try to focus properly on things, we can be controlled by the mass-media in the same way.

The secret is getting rid of the strings moving all those puppets.

And start thinking with our own mind, being unprejudiced and analysing things for what they really are and not just for what others tell us about them.  Madonna can do it, can you?

 

That’s where the idea of a Madonna-Barbie came from.

 

We don’t want to change your views on Madonna, either you are a big fan or not, we’d like to give you all the tools to taste her world, her art, her messages or just to enjoy her ever-charming songs.

 

Unwrap the cellophane separating the doll from the outside world and realize that nothing is what it seems. And keep in mind that cellophane shows you a deformed image of a doll as much as it gives Madonna the same filtered deformed image of the mass surrounding her.

 

Unwrap that plastic around the overexposed doll and find the artist. Find the woman.

 

Unwrap the artificial membrane wrapping the American dream to find out that nothing is how you expected it to be.

 

"American Life", "Hollywood", "Drowned World/Substitute For Love" are just some of the songs Madonna wrote expressing how she is not happy because of fame, she’s not satisfied because she’s rich, she doesn’t fill fulfilled because she’s a star .

She is happy because she’s grown up and found true love.   She hit true life thanks to her family.

“Some things cannot be bought” she’s been singing since "Ray Of Light" came out and in her latest "American Life" album she goes on asking “Do you think I’m satisfied?”

 

The circle is now completed. But it’s not a closing point, it’s just another starting one…

MTV.com asserts that Madonna has recorded “Hollywood” video-clip on June 2^nd and 3th. There is no surprise that shooting took place in Hollywood. During the short, Madonna has changed several looks. According to some rumors of past few days, Madonna would wear different colored wigs.

American channel VH1, part of MTV family, will broadcast "Hollywood, Making The Video" on June 17^th.
