Madonna's upcoming greatest hits by Warner Records is finally taking shape. Madonna has no plans of a new photoshoot for this ultimate collection and APPARENTLY there won't be any new song on the CD, but just remastered tracks.

Warner has also shown interest for Madonna's unreleased Tours or in particular for a Blonde Ambition DVD as the Pioneer contract is ending very soon. Warner is working something out to have the tour released. Will it be the right time to please fans of the Blonde Ambition Era?

According to The Sun, Swedish hit-makers BLOODSHY & AVANT – who have worked with Madonna in "How High" and "Like It Or Not" – are involved in a couple of songs to make the final cut of Kylie Minogue upcoming tenth album titled X.

Pet Shop Boys signal the release of Disco 4, the fourth album in a continuing series, with a groundbreaking video for the politically-inspired new track Integral. Picking up on the song’s themes of ID cards and the erosion of civil liberties by the government, Pet Shop Boys have worked with new creative group the Rumpus Room to conceive and create a sinister mix of surveillance type footage and information technology as content for their new music video.

Embedded in this dystopian film are single frames of Quick Response (or QR) Code, a new barcode technology which works in a similar way to supermarket checkout scanners. For the first time ever in a Pet Shop Boys video, fans will be able to access embedded codes linking to featured websites simply by pausing the video on the QR Code frame and taking a snapshot with their mobile camera. The various sites and online news articles and forums reflect the song’s subject matter in highlighting campaigns for freedom and civil liberty.

Two versions of the Integral video are available, the first a low resolution graphic version optimised for portable devices such as mobile phones, and the second in higher resolution for traditional broadcast needs. Both versions successfully mix the ’fluid’ technology of the internet (links etc.,), the functions we use to consume film and video (pause, rewind etc.,) and the new tools that we use to document our social environment such as camera phones.

Dan Duncombe, Head of Digital, Parlophone, comments: “Pet Shop Boys once again prove their pioneering use of digital technology with their latest promo video. In typical PSB style they have gone one step further creating an innovative, informative and engaging video that is a perfect fit for the song’s lyrical content.”

Pet Shop Boys recently signed a new deal with Parlophone. Originally signed to the record label over 20 years ago, the Pet Shop Boys have gone on to become one of the most innovative and influential groups in the world, selling in excess of 30 million albums.

Disco 4 is released by Parlophone on 8th October and is available on CD and vinyl. Disco 4 collects together Pet Shop Boys’ extended dance mixes of The Killers, Madonna, Yoko Ono, Rammstein, Atomizer and David Bowie, as well as a new extended mix of PSB live highlight Integral and their maxi-mix of the single I’m With Stupid. Integral will be available through YouTube and the Pet Shop Boys’ website www.petshopboys.co.uk.

Kylie Minogue and Lily Allen are among the artists who have recorded cover versions for an album to celebrate BBC Radio 1's 40th anniversary.

The compilation includes versions of 40 songs, one taken from each of the years that the station has been on air.

The album, titled Radio 1. Established 1967, will be released on 1 October. Natasha Bedingfield covers Madonna's Ray of Light (1998)

MADONNA is determined to get all she can out of her new collaborators JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE and TIMBALAND - she’s working them around the clock. The pair are working on several tracks on the Material Girl’s forthcoming album in a London studio - and admit they thought they would have more free time to check out the sights in the British capital. Timbaland sighs, "We are working around the clock. Justin was meant to be out tonight but he’s too tired."

Madonna headed to the studio again this morning where she met up with JT to work on her new album. We can’t wait to listen to the music they make together! Looks like Madonna won’t be hanging with Justin for much longer - apparently she’s headed to Africa this week with David. Some say it’s to adopt again, but her rep insists she’s simply continuing her work in Malawi. She said:

“I can confirm that Madonna is planning a trip to Malawi quite soon. She’s going to continue her work with the Raising Malawi Orphan Care Initiative, including the building of a children’s care center. If her trip there brings attention to the tremendous need to help the children of that country, then so be it. No one objects to that.”

Another adoption would be exciting but we’re thinking she won’t do it yet. She’s clearly excited to be hard at work in the studio again and we’re excited to hear what she creates (especially with JT).

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE is busy writing songs for MADONNA. The former NSYNC star is collaborating with the Queen Of Pop on her forthcoming album, which is due out in November.

Justin confirmed: “I have been working on some new music.

“But it’s not for myself — I’m writing for other people. I’m working on some stuff for Madonna.”

Justin headed into a West London studio yesterday with Madge.

He is in the country for a few weeks as he prepares to kick off the UK leg of his current world tour.

Madonna is famous for reinventing herself and this time her album will have a real hip-hop feel. She has lined up a Who’s Who of the genre’s megastars, including Timberlake’s producer pal TIMBALAND to help her achieve R&B credibility.

Hip-hop legend PHARRELL WILLIAMS is already working on at least four tracks and his fingerprints look set to be all over the new release.

Madge’s last offering, Confessions On A Dance Floor, was a massive success, with Brit DJ and producer STUART PRICE the main influence on the 2005 album.

There will also be some dancy Price-produced tracks on the new offering and she has also been joined by Chicago house DJ and producer FELIX DA HOUSECAT in the studio.

A source told me: “Confessions was a worldwide smash — but this will be different once again.

“The last album was a credible disco record and Madonna wants to give hip-hop the same treatment this time.

“It’s not all hip-hop though, there are a lot of producers from a lot of genres in there. It could be her most ambitious project yet.”

Pop superstar JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE is writing songs for Madonna’s new album. The Queen of Pop’s new record is expected to be released later this year (NOV07), and she has reigned in Timberlake to write a few tracks.

The CRY ME A RIVER hitmaker says, "I have been working on some new music. But it’s not for myself - I’m writing for other people. I’m working on some stuff for Madonna."

Timberlake was spotted heading into a West London studio with Madonna yesterday (10APR07) to work on the forthcoming album, reports British newspaper The Sun.

New York.– A new compilation disc entitled "Andrew Lloyd Webber Divas" is scheduled to hit stores Sept. 26 on the Decca Broadway label.

According to Playbill News, the 15-track CD features songs from Evita, The Phantom of the Opera, Sunset Boulevard, Aspects of Love, Jesus Christ Superstar and Song and Dance as well as one originally penned for the now-aborted project Phantom 2.

Among the "divas" represented on the recording are Broadway favorites Betty Buckley and Patti LuPone, West End stars Elaine Paige and Marti Webb, international recording artist Sarah Brightman, Academy Award winner Barbra Streisand and opera star Kiri Te Kanawa.
