Madonna filmje színházakban is műsorra kerül

Az IFC Entertainment megszerezte Madonan rendezői debütálásának, a Filth And Wisdom-nak Észak-Amerikában történő vetítésének és forgalmazásának jogait. A Madonna-Dan Cadan írta mozi eredetileg rövidfilmnek készült, végül több mint egyórás produkció kerekedett belőle, melyet a Berlinale filmfesztiválon tártak a közönség elé először. A film ősszel kerül a nagyérdemű elé, és ami igazi különlegesség, hogy a videóvetítésre alkalmas technikai ellátottsággal rendelkező színházak is műsorokra fogják tűzni.

Az események több szálon futnak egyszerre: megismerhetünk egy férfiprostit, egy gyógyszerészt és egy streptease-táncosnőt. Az anyagias lány először exkluzív internetes iTunes-letölthetőséggel tervezte megjelentetni alkotását, végül azonban az IFC mellett maradt.

A Warner Bros hivatalosan is bejelentette, hogy Madonna és Justin Timberlake hétfőn debütáló dala, a 4 Minutes, a Warner gondozása alatt készülő Get Smart című klasszikus remake-jében is fel fog hangzani. Ez a második esete annak, hogy Madonna egy olyan filmhez adja a zenéjét, amiben Anne Hathaway szerepel.

2006-ban a Vogue mellett az akkor aktuális kislemez, a Jump hangzott fel.

A Drownedmadonna.com olvasója, Jack Kaewphuek-Ross tegnap (Február 16.) nézte meg Berlinben, a Zoo Palast moziban a Filth And Wisdomot. Elmondása szerint az egész terem szinte teljesen tele volt és az több ember is hozott magával kamerát, hogy lekapja magát a rózsaszín függöny előtt.

Jack két érdekes szereplőt fedezett fel a film egy-egy jelenetben.

Az egyik Madonna asszisztense, a január óta bébiszabadságon lévő Angela Becker, aki a film azon jelenetében játszik, amiben A.K. különböző ügynökségeknek mutatja be zenéjét. Az egyik ilyen irodában tűnik fel Angela is.

A Versace Nunzio Palamarája, aki Maddie nyári H&M reklámfilmjében is feltűnt, pedig egy körömszalon egyik vendége. "Még mielőtt megláttam volna, már a hangjáról tudtam hogy ő az." - mondta Jack.

Italian actor Lorenzo Ciompi was one of the guest of Italian tv show "Cronache Marziane" hosted by Fabio Canino. Lorenzo had a small role in Guy Ritchie's "Swept Away".

Canino said that Lorenzo "did a movie with Madonna, but nobody saw it... a very bad movie". The hoster also said that Madonna is very talented, but she should do what she does best. Since her role was originally played by Italian actress Mariangela Melato and it was one of her best acting, Canino stated that Madonna shouldn't have played this character.

Then the hoster asked Lorenzo Ciompi to admit that this remake was very bad. However, Lorenzo said that there are many scenes where Madonna is very good and he likes so much the director, Guy Ritchie. So he is very proud of being part of the cast.

Finally, Canino asked Lorenzo about Madonna. Lorenzo said that she is very professional... she used to wake up at 6am for jogging... but at the same time she is very kind and easy-going. He said that when he met her for the first time he clasped her hand too strong and she made fun of this. Then Madonna asked him many personal questions.

After more than ten years of waiting, it seems Madonna finally will be drag -Candy Darling on the big screen.

According to today's edition of Sun

"MADONNA is to play a transvestite in a Hollywood film — and she has agreed to do it for free.

The Queen Of Pop has been chasing the role of drag queen CANDY DARLING for years but has just signed the deal."

Darling starred in a number of ANDY WARHOL films and provided LOU REED with the inspiration to write CANDY SAYS and WALK ON THE WILD SIDE.

An insider says, "Madonna has been desperate to make a film where she can earn respect for her acting abilities. She is still trying to shake off the bad publicity from the movie SWEPT AWAY. She sees this as her big chance.

"She has wanted to play this part for so long because she feels so strongly about the character.

"She said she would do anything for the part and has agreed to work for free."

The final talks were held during a fleeting visit to New York at the end of January.

She met up with her close friend and unofficial movie agent Bryan Lourd to plan her next move in the movie business.

She then got together with producers from the Candy project - which is still to be named - and agreed to star.

She also met the team producing the film version of James Ellroy's novel The Black Dahlia.

Family Room Joins Maverick & Integrated for a Ride on the ``TERROR TRAIN'' .

PARK CITY, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 31, 2005--In conjunction with Maverick Films and Integrated Films and Management, Emmett/Furla Films, a wholly owned subsidiary of Family Room Entertainment Corporation (OTCBB:FMLY), are pleased to announce that they are in final negotiations to acquire the rights to remake the 1980 horror classic, "TERROR TRAIN." The original picture, which was directed by Roger Spottiswoode and starred Jamie Lee Curtis, follows a group of college coeds being terrorized by a masked killer during a New Year's Masquerade on a chartered train.

Emmett/Furla and Integrated recently partnered to set up a remake of the horror classic "THE AMITYVILLE HORROR" with NuImage and Dimension Films.

Co-chairs of Family Room Entertainment Randall Emmett and George Furla stated: "We are very excited to be re-teaming with Steve (Whitney) and Andy (Trapani) on another horror remake. We are also thrilled to be working with Maverick Films, who bring an extraordinary depth of creative resources."

"Suspense on a train is a classic formula that's been relatively unexplored in recent years," said Andy Trapani and Steve Whitney of Integrated Films and Management.

Mark Morgan of Maverick Films stated: "Maverick has been looking for the right picture to collaborate with EFF and Integrated for some time. We are excited to start with 'TERROR TRAIN' and believe this to be the first of many to come."

The producers are currently out to writers on the Pic, which is being fast-tracked.

AN ULSTER woman has stars in her eyes again - after playing host to Madonna's man - at her guesthouse!

For Kim Dawson got 'in on the act' again - with Madonna's hubby, Guy Ritchie, using her Isle Of Man property, as a location for his new movie.

Earlier, in 2004, the Lurgan woman entertained a member of Hollywood royalty - Tom Cruise's ex-girlfriend, Penelope Cruz - at her Douglas guesthouse.

Cruz used Kim's own bedroom and living room during the filming of the all-star movie, Chromophobia - and even happily chomped away on pizza in the TV lounge of The Glencoe Guesthouse.

And movie connected lightning does strike twice - as Ritchie and the cast and crew of his film, Revolver, including hard man heartthrob, Jason Statham - also landed on Lurgan-born Kim's doorstep.

Statham - the ex-boyfriend of Smallville actress, Kelly Brook, and now stepping out with Denise Van Outen - plays the part of a hotshot gambler, who faces his deadliest game, against Goodfellas star, Ray Liotta.

Kim explained: "They first started filming about six weeks ago, and then came back again last week. They cordoned the street off, and had a big American car come down really quickly.

"Jason went to put his foot off the pavement, with him jumping back, and the car just missing him."

Kim revealed that the woeful weather saw many of the cast and crew seeking shelter in The Glencoe - including the film's main star!

She explained: "Jason had two or three extra jackets lying in my lounge. He had to come in and change into a dry jacket, as it was pouring down outside.

"So, I can say that I have seen Jason Statham undressing. He was stood in my hallway, taking his shirt off and putting a new one on. I'm a lucky woman!"

It remains to be seen if gangster movie, Revolver is a major success, like Ritchie's Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels. But, there is no doubt that Madonna's man is Number One with the Ulster mum.

Kim said: "He was the loveliest guy you could ever meet, and just so friendly. When I asked if I could have my photo taken with him, he said 'no problem', put his arm around me and was all smiles.

"Madonna has a tiny part in the film, but I haven't seen her. I know people who have seen her and her husband together.

"Guy told me that he loved the Isle Of Man, because he and his wife were not being hassled over here.

"They can come and go as they please, and have been going out to restaurants. They have been very nice, giving autographs."

THE FIRST LOOK

Gala (German edition) is featuring a small pic of Madonna and Guy on the cover. They are reporting about Madonna playing a role in Guy’s new movie "Revolver". They state that, despite the flops of all the movies she’s done so far with her husbands/lovers (examples: "Swept Away" with Guy Ritchie, "Shanghai Surprise" with Sean Penn or "Dick Tracy" with Warren Beatty*) and earning lots of "Golden Raspberries", Guy gave her a role in his movie. "He’s doing it for love, even if the price might be another "Golden Raspberry". Madonna’s always getting what she wants", a collaborator says.

* Note: "Dick Tracy" wasn't a flop at all.

[EXCLUSIVE] Revolver locations.

Now that Revolver's shooting is near to an end, we can reveal some info about its locations.

The first part of the shooting took place inside and outside the Farmiloe Building on 34–36, St John Street, Clerkenwell (London). The old Farmiloe Building has lain empty for many years, but it was opened up to provide exhibition space. The building has a long history, being built by building trade merchants Farmiloe in 1868. The attractive Italianate palazzo-style frontage was executed in Portland stone, white Suffolk brick and polished Aberdeen granite, with much decoration, both incised and in relief. See the picture below.

As for the locations on the Isle of Man, DrownedMadonna can reveal that the crew filmed on Athol Street as well as in a Guesthouse/B&B. At this stage, we cannot add more info about the locations on the isle, being the movie still in production till Christmas.
