Madonna projected on the Empire State Building to celebrate Harper’s Bazaar 150th anniversary
Some of the most iconic Madonna‘s photos from Harper’s Bazaar have been projected on the Empire State Building in New York City.
Last night the Empire State Building was lit up with projections of Madonna and other celebrities to celebrate the 150th anniversary of style magazine Harper’s Bazaar.
From 20:30 to midnight (local time), the north side of the Empire State Building projected some of the most famous photos of Madonna and other celebrities. The photographs spanned the entire history of Harper’s Bazaar.
Harper’s Bazaar Editor-in-Chief Glenda Bailey said that she wanted to give New Yorkers “the greatest fashion show in the world.”
Madonna appeared several times during the night. At least two projections with Madonna have been spotted. One with the legendary Jean Paul Gualtier corpert from the early 90s, and a recent photo by Luigi & Iango.
“It’s wildly expensive but it will be worth every penny,” Bailey said.
